These battery-operated scissors can be activated with an external switch connected to the standard switch port. Scissors can be used without base or secured in base with a velcro strap. The base features two suction cups to hold it securely in place. The base allows users with upper body mobility limitations to cut paper. The scissors cut continuously as long as the switch is activated and automatically stop once the user disengages the switch.
