ELSB - Early Literacy Skills Builder app (2791) Check Availability

The iOS app ELSB is a multi-year preliteracy curriculum for students who have not acquired print and phonemic awareness. The software includes 7 levels of daily lessons and level assessments. The program narrator and main character, Moe the frog, takes students through lessons built to shape mastery of 14 objectives following an easy-to-hard sequence.

Objectives include:

• Sight word vocabulary with flashcards
• Syllable segmentation with a tapping game
• Print awareness with pointing to text as it is read

Please note: When you reserve an app, you have the option of borrowing it on your own device (iPad or iPhone) or on one of our library iPads. In the reservation notes please mention whether you want to use your own device or library device. If wanting to use your own device, watch for an email from us with instructions.

Requirements: Some apps require a newer version of Apple's operating system (iOS). Please look up the current iOS requirements for this app in the Apple App Store and check it against the iOS version on your device.
